Johanne has a large walnut tree in her garden – and a husband who eagerly competes with the squirrels every autumn to collect the nuts. This has resulted in quite a big stock of walnuts, more than she can manage to use. That’s why she created this delicious walnut mylk.
🛒 Ingredients
• 80 g soaked walnuts
• 1 tbsp syrup (we have someone in the family with fructose intolerance, so honey and dates are excluded)
• ½ tsp vanilla sugar
• A small pinch of salt (optional)
🥄 Method
1. Soak 80 g of walnuts for 24 hours, changing the water a couple of times (this removes the bitter taste). They can soak up to 48 hours if you don’t manage to make the mylk after 24 hours.
2. Fill the PlantMylker with water up to halfway between the two lines in the container.
3. Select the cold program.
